The #1 seed Stokesdale Bronco Tigers became the 2011 NWYA Champions by defeating the
#2 seed Stokesdale Phillies 13-3.  The Tigers were behind 0-2 in the bottom of the 3rd inning
until Nate Ramsey (who went 3 for 3) ripped a single & then Trevor Hartman energized the
team by hitting a BOMB over the center fielder's head.  The Tigers scored 6 more in the 3rd, 2
more in the 4th, & 4 more in the 5th inning until the game was ended by slaughter rule in the
bottom of the 5th.  Caleb Homol pitched to Tiger catcher Rom Delaney the entire game
throwing a 1 hitter & retiring 7 of 15 by strikeout with 3 walks, while the team allowed 2 errors
in the field.  Congratulations to the Stokesdale Bronco Tigers.  I have attached a picture of
the celebration.
