a.        The RCYFL has decided to allow official practices to begin on August 18th.  Tackle Practices may be as many
as 5 days per week until games begin the weekend after Labor Day, September 13th.  Please make sure your family
is prepared for this commitment.

b.        The RCYFL 3 day camp will occur the last week of July.  The excellent camp costs only $40 & is directed &
coached by the RCYFL Commissioner, the Head Coach of Rockingham County High School, & his assistant coaches
& players.  SYFA sent numerous players last year & the camp was a success in helping numerous Stokesdale kids
learn to love the game.

c.        SYFA will host a 3 day camp during the 1st week of August.  In 2008, the SYFA football camp was lead by a
team of coaches from Averett University from Danville, Virginia.

d.        SYFA will likely add post-season tournament games to the end of season schedule.  Please make sure your
family is prepared for this commitment.

Stokesdale wins the 2008 RCYFL
Tackle 1 Championship!!!

Stokesdale wins 1st & 2nd place in RCYFL Tackle 1 Division (ages
7-9), achieves Co-Champion status for 2nd straight year in Flag
Football (ages 5-6), & makes Semifinals in Tackle 2 (ages 10-12).
Stokesdale Cheer & Flag Football
Practice -  By approval of the 2009 RCYFL Committee, Flag Football
practice begins Thursday August 27th, 2009 at 6 PM at Malachi Field.  Flag football will
practice on Tuesdays & Thursday nights at Malachi Field.
